30 Minute Lessons

A 30-minute lesson is the perfect place to start for a young, beginning student! I offer 30-minute lessons in piano or voice to beginning students under the age of 10.  Each lesson includes music games and activities, exercises, improvisation, music theory, a focus on technique, and learning repertoire.  All students will have the opportunity to perform in at least two recitals each year as well as participate in group workshops and classes at least once each session.

60 Minute Lessons

I offer 60-minute lessons to intermediate to advanced students in both voice and piano. A 60-minute piano lesson includes improvisation, harmonization, music theory, sight-reading, technique work, and learning pieces of music.  A 60-minute voice lesson includes a warmup and stretch, vocal exercises and technique work, acting work, and learning songs.  A 60-minute lesson is also a popular choice for beginning to intermediate students who would like to spend 30 minutes on piano and 30 minutes on singing. All students will have the opportunity to perform in at least two recitals each year.  Advanced students also have the option of working toward graded examinations such as RCM or ABRSM.
